WeekendWarrior Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 fishing buck creek area the 21st weekend for the first time in about 10 years, any reports? I assume they are spawning pretty good right now. Was planning on floating worms, flukes, c-rig, shakyhead and grubs. Really looking forward to fishing bull, it's been a long time. mixermarkb 1
Ham Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Quote it's been a long time The "new" higher pool level is going to be a game changer for you. Until the bushes die and rot away, we are basically going to have a high water spawn every year. Fish are most def using the bushes. Keep an open mind and pay attention to what the bites you get are telling you and you will be fine. Go watch video of what the Bass Master Elites did. I would also expect top water hard baits to start shining soon. WeekendWarrior and mixermarkb 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Fish24/7 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 WW if it's been ten years since you've fished Bull you'll be happy to see there's finally some strong numbers of largemouth bass in the lake again. The last few years they have really made a comeback. Also there's the trillion smallmouth bass we have living in the lake now too lol ! mixermarkb 1
