I had a couple hours free this afternoon, so I went to my favorite local creek, only 15 minutes from the house.  Hog Wally texted me while I was fishing with a picture of a big largemouth he caught, right after I'd caught my second 16.5 inch smallmouth in the last 10 minutes.  I texted him back, showing a picture of that fish along with a picture of the creek I was fishing, which is VERY small, and told him that mine was only 16.5 but look at the size of the creek I was fishing.  A half hour later I finiished the day with a beautiful 17 incher.  All on one of my homemade topwater lures, of course.  A good creek is a treasure without price.
