LittleRedFisherman Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Here's a clip I put together over the weekend for a local project/show i'm working with with a friend. Some of you might remember it as it used to air in Springfield several years ago. With the permission from Phil I thought i'd share it and get your thoughts on this clip. It won't air until this fall, but as the fishing guy, on what used to be mostly a hunting show, I feel the need to promote catch and release as much as I can, kind of a mission if you will. Here's the clip, for a guy not the best spoken think it turned out pretty good. Footage is from a nice smallie I caught wade fishing one day with a buddy. Bret. Dan Kreher Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Great message to release slow-growing sportfish such as river smallmouth bass. Nice fish to boot! LittleRedFisherman 1
Plastic_worm Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Awesome! During my last smallie trip I caught several that were recently caught and released. They had tearing/healing hook marks around the mouth. A great sign that some are enjoying the resource and also allowing others the same opportunity. Very encouraging, keep it up!
