Dutch Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 There is no telling what you can use with all of the water flowing into Pommy. It looks like at least a 4' rise this past week. I hope they hold the water up till I get there on the 17th. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/mo/nwis/uv?cb_62614=on&format=html&site_no=06921325&period=&begin_date=2016-07-01&end_date=2016-07-04

I would say your right Sandbc 6 sandwiches is probably more like it. To your question about top water I havent fished for the last 3 weeks do to a shoulder injury but until then and having fished here for the last 40 years I can say top water can be good early in the morning before the sun gets on the water.
MOPanfisher Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 I hope they hold the water up till I get there on the 17th. That is not going to happen, we are already starting to increase the outflow to draw the lake back down to a target of 839.0 The forecast shows us releasing 3000 CFS for a couple days then dropping to 2500 CFS until about the 18th. Of course as always all that is dependent upon additional rainfall. Big rains will shut us down until downstream conditions stabilize, and we can again increase the releases.
Ranger520vx Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 As always thanks for the good info MoPanfisher. zarraspook 1
Members Alaskageek Posted July 11, 2016 Members Posted July 11, 2016 Count another vote for the 254. They do up the tenderloin several different ways... all are good. Love the 254 burger as well! Biscuts and gravy is another favorite. It's a must go every time we come over. Portions are huge.... no matter what you get.... and prices are right. Can be a bit crowded if you hit it wrong.... but always worth the wait!!

By the way does anyone try topwater or just mostly plastic's. I would suggest the Whopper Plopper in the loon Color or the less expensive route is the Rage Tail Shad both excellent top Water
hillbillyflyshack Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 My lady and I were on Pomme today and must say it is a beautiful lake that looks really fishy. Will have to check out the 254 and the Crappie Hole as we will be staying at Clearlight Inn over the 23d and 24th. Ramman 123 your input is very appreciated as well as the others and will try your suggestions for sure. Thank you all for the assistance now if I can apply it properly and in the right places hopefully we will catch and release a few. Thanks again you guys are great!
