strangercreek Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Rogers Sporting Goods in Liberty, MO is selling Feather Lights for $9.99. I don't know how much shipping would be though. They also have the 7ft models with snake guides as opposed to the ring guides. Just in case anyone is still looking at these.... www.rogerssportinggoods.com
Danoinark Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Good find! I picked up the 7 footer to match my 6'6" the other day at a Wal*Mart. Ya'll know how I love them little sticks. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Members Patricks on the White Posted March 8, 2007 Members Posted March 8, 2007 Whats a featherlight; a micro spinning rod? PB
Flysmallie Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Whats a featherlight; a micro spinning rod? Eagle Claw's fiberglass flyrod. Dano, I think, started the insanity. He's been pushing them on people like a drug dealer. After reading his earlier posts about these rods I just had to have one or two. By the way, thanks Dano. These are going to be good canoe rods. Last year I had a nice TFO rod that I released to the waters of the Eleven Point. It made me sick.

If you at the Mountain Home WallyWorld they have the 7' ft version. its a 5/6 weight, parabolic action. I bet once you see one, (has a yellow fiberglass blank) you will remember them. I would say you might have even had one as a kid. Eagle Claw has been making them for years and I just rediscovered them this year. I bought the 6'6" 5 WT also. Several years ago I also had their unltralight spinning rod in the same blank. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 As kids we used em for either fly or spin. When you put a spinning reel on the 7 footer you can cast a marabou jig a mile. Fishes em great too. I might have to stop in at Wallyworld in Mountain Home myself this weekend. SIO3
mcp633 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 There's a fella on ebay out of Colorado Springs that deals in them too. I've bought several items from him over the last few years. He's very professional and prompt. 59gremlin is his handle and gremlin fishing I believe is his ebay store. If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them
