It's really hot!

Had house guests and he wanted to fish despite the heat. Two pre-dawn trips and one evening (bout 11 hours total) results:

 18 bass(2 keepers) , 2 crappies, 8 sunfish, 1 sheepshead, 1 catfish. Wt 87-89 ,fished gravel points and sloping banks. trolled crawler harness in evening. Lost something big when I had the trolling drag too tight, probably a cat. A few caught on wiggle wart but most on drop shot or ned rig. The interesting thing was 12 of the bass were smallmouth including the 2 keepers.  Saw plenty of brief surface action but could never get close.
