I just flushed that catfish again out of my live well with a fresh dose of bleach. At least I can stick my head under the cover now without puking. J-Doc Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Saw this 3-4lb largemouth floating at Prairie Creek early Saturday morning. Must have been released from the Friday night jackpot the night before. I have only been out on the water twice now in about 3 month (excluding fireworks show with family) and this is what I have seen since late spring. Dead bass. Just posting a photo. Take it for what it's worth. I think there are a few anglers that should beducated as many have stated here earlier. Lance34 and Mike jones 2 Need marine repair? A little fish care commen sense is all it takes.
J-Doc Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 I made a statement earlier about me seeing a lot this year. A lot more than I ever have. Well I saw this one and was greatly disturbed when I saw I was a really good largemouth. I have taken a few other photos earlier this year but I deleted them already. I just wanted to take a second and back up what I had stated earlier. A few bad day apples can ruin a bunch. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. Tanderson15 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 If a bass is going to die why not keep it and eat it. You know when a fish will not make it. Common sense. That's why I do not fish for walleyes when their deep, if they are short they might not survive being pulled up from the deep. If your not going to eat it don't hunt our fish for it. All my bass survive, I think, because I don't net them and release them right away. Some people should not hunt, fish, have a pet or kid. Off my chest and feel better and not sorry. Couldn't agree more, Tanderson. Some folks want all the fun and none of the responsibility. Doesn't work that way.
M_Taylor Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I think Doc meant the Elite. I get the two mixed up too. Everett has a really good system. And in fact if a fish dies they fillet it up and freeze it for a fish fry, because they have a big tank for reviving fish. But the Elite has no systems whatsoever from what I've seen. And therefore more dead bass afterwards based on my own experiences

I said Everett and I had noted that I have fished two Everett events but those were a few years ago when they first started it. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message.
