White Bass

Does anyone know when the white bass will get easy to catch this fall?  Looking to get the family on them again.

If this October is like last year, up the river the whites will be thick and voracious.  Hopefully a little bigger than last year too.

So you're saying they will be up river rather than in the main lake?  I haven't navigated the river from Bolivar landing yet. I usually head north up the lake.

We usually find them up the river while crappie fishing.  On the main lake look for a bank that the wind is blowing into.

Typically the main lake is best when the water temp gets to 65° or below and the wind is blowing.  I plan to be on Pom the last week of Sept.  I'll prolly fish for them a time or two.
