Members kelbrand Posted September 1, 2016 Members Posted September 1, 2016 Does anyone know when the white bass will get easy to catch this fall? Looking to get the family on them again. Thanks!
MOPanfisher Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 If this October is like last year, up the river the whites will be thick and voracious. Hopefully a little bigger than last year too.
Members kelbrand Posted September 2, 2016 Author Members Posted September 2, 2016 So you're saying they will be up river rather than in the main lake? I haven't navigated the river from Bolivar landing yet. I usually head north up the lake.
MOPanfisher Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 We usually find them up the river while crappie fishing. On the main lake look for a bank that the wind is blowing into.
Dutch Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Typically the main lake is best when the water temp gets to 65° or below and the wind is blowing. I plan to be on Pom the last week of Sept. I'll prolly fish for them a time or two.
