Thought Stockton was providing drinking water to Spfld. now?  Is that the cause?

No. They will pump water into Fellows when needed but Fellows is plenty full right now.

I checked the water discharge from Table Rock yesterday. They were running FOUR turbines. It may have been warm yesterday, but there was not that much power needed to supply Branson. Silver Dollar City was closed and the main tourist attractions were also. This is nothing but greed by the power companies.

The electricity generated goes into the SWPA Power system, from there it can be essentialy sent anywhere in the country.  I would still be curios to know, and I don't know whom to ask, if SWPA is generating more this summer to cover for a coal or nuke plant that is off line for repairs or upgrades somewhere.

The pipeline goes right into Fellows.

Read a story on line that mentioned the lack of rain causing the water level to drop. If that's true, shouldn't they stop drawing water? Is there a lower limit that they must stop at. Found this graph which I find disturbing. Shows how much the lake has dropped since the beginning of the year.

Looking at the generation schedule they are scheduled to generate for a few hours this afternoon and then nothing through Sunday. Don't know if that will hold true or not but that is what is scheduled.
