Members TroutMonster Posted September 10, 2016 Members Posted September 10, 2016 The high spring flow had no where to go when it met the swollen river..perfect timing..
bassfisher Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Hi jeremy fish around the family in zone 1 you will do OK early in the morning and late in the evening, remember it's stocked nothing like lake taneycomo, but fun.

Tell me how much the flow of that, compared to all the gates open at Table Rock..... Apples and oranges.... Pal.
fshndoug Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I can tell you exactly what that is.The outflow at the spring during that Christmas rain reached almost 10000 cubic feet for a short time.4 turbines running at the same rate raises tanyecomo 9 feet from 701 to 710.I have drifted taney many times at that flow .You tell me how wide upper Taney is compared to Bennett Springs. The water from the spring washed those fish out of the hatchery not the river. When they open all the gates at Tablerock 4 feet that put the water at 726 25 feet over normal Taney pool.Close to 100000 cubic feet per second. Those are apples and oranges for sure.I know you can't argue with someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. laker67 1

Regardless of the direction of flow, the high water made for pretty good fishing in the river below.
