We never weighed a fish. Just had 4 keepers all weekend. Quit about noon today.  This morning in spring creek we were sitting in the back and this pr@&k in a z21 churned up mud beside us to get farther back in there. It didn't help him out. We just went to the other side and fished the same water in the middle. There are some real jerks out there for this tournament.

They're everywhere for the BBB. You really have to be prepared going into it to deal with d!cks.

We did ok. Fished up the little niangua on sat. And up the big niangua on Sunday. No real bad traffic to speak of. It was kind of nice.

Sat. Caught a lot of fish but mostly shorts. Had one good 5+ class fish come off right at the boat just before the net got there. Made me sick.

Sunday had less fish but much better quality. Would have had a 16lb limit probably.  Weighed a 4.46 for 24th one weigh in and won my entry back. Tried for a 3 even and came up short at 2.83.

One of my buddies caught one near six today and missed the weigh in! The fish were biting and they wanted to keep fishing so he set an alarm on his phone so they could weigh it before 3pm. Apparently that alarm was only set to go off on week days.......

Does anybody know the story on the top two fish?  I was just wondering if they were weighed in on the same scale.  1 one-hundredth of a pound seems pretty dang close to me.

You and I are both friends with him on Facebook. We are fishing together this weekend so I plan on giving him a lot of crap about it.

1st Place, Kerry Patrick Malone - 7.16 Pounds

Caught at 7:04AM on Saturday on a chatter bait on a point near Alhonna Resort at the 8MM.

2nd Place, Kevin Welch - 7.15 Pounds

Caught Sat. 9-11 in the Gravois on a DD22 over a brush pile about 17' deep.

3rd Place, Dustin Henry - 6.96 Pounds

Caught Sat 1-3 in the Glaize on a Jig shallow after fish missed his top water 3 times,

4th Place, Joe Bratz - 6.84 Pounder

Caught Sun 7-9 near Alhonna flipping behind a dock with a Missile Bait D-Bomb Destroyer

My guess would be 1st and 2nd were both weighed in at Alhonna.

We had 3 boats fishing Shawnee bend area, 1 boat fishing Niangua area and another fishing around bollinger creek area. Nobody cashed a check but most had good days catching keepers. I fished the Shawnee bend area and we had 10 keepers each day, 3.73 and 3.59 were the biggest and several in 3 range. Well I found out that one of my offshore piles was holding fish, we had 4 keepers off of it and couldn't even get on it Sunday, was one boat sitting on it and we started fishing towards it and another jackass jumped right in front of us and started fishing it. Felt like washing him but that would have made me as much of a jerk as him so moved on. Had one of our guys win $500 early bird prize which was nice and another a box of jigs. Good time had for all but am wore out. Costa series this upcoming weekend and they will have some big weights I am sure. Was catching some good ones before BBB on topwater and jigs shallow.
