96 CHAMP Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Ordered some Trokar spinnerbaits & did not realize the skirts were not tied on with wire like the others. Wondering if any of you guys have had any comments on the durability of these since there not wire tied.
Champ188 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I've used some of the push-on skirts with no problem. They don't have quite the perfect action of the tied skirts but they work OK.

Jim Elam Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Its easy to add wire to the push on skirts and they will last lots longer and pulsate better. Use the medium or large copper ultra wire 2-3 wraps, twist down and cinch up, re-twist once. Then trim the wire and tuck back. Works great on blade and jigs.
