Kincaid today. First Muskie.

Took a trip down to Kincaid today. Didn't catch but two fish but I did catch my first Muskie today.  Was a wee little baby one though.  Caught it on a 4.5" ribbed plastic swim bait right up on the bank in the coon tail. I'm really finding this lake to be really hard to fish.  I just don't know what to throw in the coon tail to get down under it where the fish are.  I tried punching it but my bait just ends up all tangled up in it.  Such a nice looking lake but it sure does frustrate me.  I did get to experience my first tire blow out on my trailer today too.  Happened on the way there about 5 miles from the lake. Thankfully they are steel wheels and they can take a beating.
