Bass Pro in Springdale?

So I was chatting with a commercial building contractor yesterday and he said a Bass Pro was in works to be built over by Arvest Ball Park area in Springdale. I assume with the acquisition of Cabela's there will be some changes. Just wondering how much truth there was to that and If anyone may have heard anything? I know that area is booming. Just curious?

Hasn't been a word in the paper about it but they ain't what they used to be as far as staying on top of things.

The last plans sent thru the ADoH under the BP name were for the Little Rock store, so if there's anything in the works it's still in the budget/design/maybe phase.

First rumor I've heard of it.  I know a lot of the major contractors in the area.  That would have been talked about if it were a real project.  I don't see the need since acquisition.

There is a Children's hospital and a Sam's Club going by Arvest ballpark. Upcoming is a few hotels. No mention of Bass Pro as of now. My brother does bids on almost all new commercial construction jobs in the area. If anything is coming within the next year or so he usually knows before most folks.
