Fish24/7 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Have been pretty slow for me. I haven't used the boat since October. Walking mile after mile of Bull Shoals shoreline looking for bites, doctors orders, more exercise and fewer Doritos. Finding some lures but mostly junk. Anyway, I had one really good day where I caught 29 from the bank, all released. A mix of flatheads, walleye, whites, and small largemouths with a few keeper kentuckies too on dixie spoons 1/2 or 3/4.casting from shore into 15-25fow. That day the wind was blowing directly into where I was fishing and they were stacked in there. The next few times I tried it there, no wind,no fish Last week the crawdads were really on the go. Some were even out of the water walking the bank. Set a crawdad trap and only caught a couple. not much else to report really, good luck! dan hufferd and Diamond City Fisher 2

Fish24/7 Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 fished on the 28th, and this past Sunday morning. Wednesday fished with a buddy walking the bank for about 4 1/2 hours. We caught quite a few keeper kentuckies on grubs and trd worms. Saw 4 loons fishing in the area we were fishing. New Years day fished early morning for a few hours again walking a different bank. First fish of 2017 was a 14" spot. Caught several short lm bass and a couple more keeper spots , a 17" largemouth, and a 5lb drum. TRD worm and jerkbaits. good luck !! happy new year!
mojorig Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 The top picture is a long pincer crayfish. It is endemic to the upper White River. They are pretty cool and get big!! Jeremy Risley District Fisheries Supervisor AGFC Mountain Home Office - 1-877-425-7577 Email: Jeremy.Risley@agfc.ar.gov
