BFTMASTER Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Long Shot here but: Me and some fishing (2) buddies have our annual trip to the State Park planned for February 16th-19th. Does anyone have a trout boat that we can hire for the trip? Meaning a boat on a trailer that does not have to be checked in everyday, that can fish different areas of river? I have been fishing the White for over 25 years in rental boats and know the river well from Cotter to the dam. Low water/High water, I know the shoals...very well...I have waded them and pulled boats when the water turned off in my earlier days.LOL I know it is a stretch, but short of buying a trout boat, we are never going to get to fish this river fully when the rentals have to be turned in about the time the evening bite takes place hours before dark. We can work out a deposit system, release of liability form, and a rate. Not asking for someones trick Shawnee or topwater. Just a decent boat with a decent motor to go chase some fish. Feel free to PM me with any replys or suggestion. I am familiar with every rental from State Park to Calico.
