I just learned how to ski Tuesday and Wednesday. On the bunny slops of course. Then they wanted to show me how to skin up snow so I learned that in a day and the very next day I skinned up a nasty ridge and skied down, on powder. All 4 seasoned skiers were blown a way that I skied "pow" in the forest on my 4th day. They say I'm the 1 percent of skier. I told them sorry I'm leaving in 6 days back home. Good enough for me I reckon. I just want to get back to fishing! Here's a couple of pics of what I'm skiing after 4 days Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing and becoming a skier on the fly! You're the man! Keep us informed and up to date with your trip, more pics please! Be safe and have a good trip home! You're living the dream man!

Johnsfolly Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Dan I agree with Hammer time your living a winter dream. We haven't had snow to speak of in the last few winters. Good to see it somewhere. The closest I came to conditions like your photos was cross country skiing in New Hampshire nearly a couple of decades ago. Though you photos are bringing back great memories. Thanks for posting. Good luck on your next trip out on Beaver lake. The more I read posts about that lake, the more interested I am to try for stripers down there. Keep up your posts.
Champ188 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Looks like an incredible time, Dan. Glad you got to go on the trip and super glad you posted all the great pics. As others have said, looks like a trip you'll remember for the rest of your days. Now come back home and get after those stripers. LOL Dan the fisherman 1
Ozark Flyer Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Cool pics Dan but I miss reading your fishing reports. Looks like you're having a ball. My friends out in Idaho Are all reporting record snow this year. Dan the fisherman 1
