My factory tach is all over the place and i just cant justify buying the MercMonitor
Will S. Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I used one SIMILAR on my golf cart. On MY version, the end of the wire just WRAPPED around the spark plug wire. It did work just fine, but never had anything to compare it with to check calibration.

Basfis Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Any chance your tach has a dial on the back to change its inputs? Kind of a buckle sized circle with a pointer? if so, make note of where it is set and dial one way, back past setting then to your set point. If contacts are dirty they get flaky. If not, disregard. Works on faria type gauges
