Members 6lbstest Posted March 6, 2017 Members Posted March 6, 2017 Well went back this evening shortly for about an hour or so, had no luck, hope the predicted storms help get the water going before the warm up! trythisonemv 1
trythisonemv Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I may try next week if we get any measure of rain
Flysmallie Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 We do need a bit of water. Last year when I had a decent day it was around 200 cfs. Today it's at 50 cfs and continues to drop. Either way I'll probably give it a go this weekend. trythisonemv 1

Members ehertz Posted March 17, 2017 Members Posted March 17, 2017 Went down today and stayed between the lake and the steel bridge. Caught 25-30 fish from 12 to 4. All but three were small males. I was fly fishing using clousers. There were a few spin rods there. They were catching a few on clear swimming minnows. BilletHead, Johnsfolly and 6lbstest 3
Members Mr. Houx Posted March 18, 2017 Members Posted March 18, 2017 I would like to give the little sac a try in the coming weeks, I have never fished there and will be using my kayak to get around and throw some clousers. I will be putting in and taking out from the same location since I will not have a shuttle to pick me up. In your experience, what are some good places to put in where I can do this?
Members ehertz Posted March 18, 2017 Members Posted March 18, 2017 I have not been to Taylor bridge yet this year and I hear the water is really low but that has been a good place in the past. I usually go upstream from there to the powerlines and then drift back down. Hopefully it rains soon! Mr. Houx 1
trythisonemv Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Water level back down to 400 cfs. Should be back to a great level soon. As long as we dont get excessive rains its going to be a great year.

If it will stay between 250 and 400 then it should be a really good time. Now if I can just find the time. Anybody even mentions a good day and I might get the flu. trythisonemv 1
trythisonemv Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Time Is the trick. My wife is already over me fishing this spring Lol.
