They were chewing today all over the lake...water temps in the low 50's around prairie to low/mid 50's up the river. The water color up around Hickory creek is nice..and they are eating!!

A-rigs were a big player today along with a wart. We had around 20 keepers including a couple giant stripers!!  Several 14-16lb bags weighed also.

U guys did awesome! Especially considering the weather. This cold spell has kept me off the water.  I normally don't mind the cold, but with the last warm weather spells we've had, it's kinda turned me off for it.  I really don't want to  suit up for it n e more.  Congrats though.

I'm jealous, wish I had the drive to get out there on a freezing morning like that again. Thanks for the report and congratulations.

Very nice,

I went to HC Sunday afternoon & caught 5 bass that weighed 3lbs.

I fished a RK crawler, square bill & Jerkbait around channel swings.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe the afternoon is tough?

I'm probably fishing too shallow, if the Arig is hammering them. But that's how i roll & eventually the fish will move into my areas. Obviously, I need to work on my offshore game.

Bank changes seemed to hold multiple fish for us. We pretty much had an all day bite.  I do know that a 17lb bag came from the Hickory creek/up the river area on a-rig.

Thanks MJ, I will try the deeper schools that I found on my next outing. I need to hire a guide for that Lol
