MOPanfisher Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Curiosity question as much as anything. I know right now while fishing at Stockton the green slime is quite healthy and growing very well in the clear water, anything that touches the bottom is instantly slimed. How do you fish the Ned in such conditions? Do you fish it deep enough to avoid the slime?
Fish24/7 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 you could, a swimming type retrieve might work too
dtrs5kprs Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I fish it right in that gunk, maybe with just a little less bottom contact. Fish, and what they eat, live in it. It bothers us a lot more than it bothers the fish. Especially folks not used to fishing soupy, grassy lakes. You rarely have a clean bait north of I-70. mixermarkb 1
