So what kind of flies do you use for them, and what are your success ratios like? I'm talking fish seen, to fish looking at flies, to takes, to hookups, to landing. Love catching them when I can, but it's usually bycatch on the long rod.

As you'd expect the ratios are terrible (especially if you cast at every grasser you see) but it's the hunt that I like most.  However there are times when I expect to get an eat...assuming I did everything right and those ratios are pretty good.  For reference, If I see a grass carp tailing and I can get close enough to get a fly near it.  I feel like that's a 50/50 on getting a look...maybe only 10% on an eat.    The flies I use range from small dry's to small leechs.  I'm working with Orvis on an article about this right now.  I'll share the link here when they share it.
