Stump bumper Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Seems all bass boats have the plug in type bow lights on a short pole. Can you replace those with the flush mount type lights that don't have to be removed? Just seems it would be less of a hassle to put up on light at night and only take one down.
Old plug Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 heah you can unless it is obstrusted unerway in any way. Mostly it is the trolloing moter that will block its forward light and is the reason for the post in the front
J-Doc Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 They make an LED kit that installs into the rub rail. Blue Water bow light kit or something like that. Pretty elaborate solution and what all the "cool kids" have on their hi-dollar rigs. Lol! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Dutch Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 My Nitro has small lights on each side of the bow in the cap. There is no receptacle for a plug in. I'm sure you can find something that will work if you have a place to install them on each side. Like these. http://www.discountmarinesupplies.com/Side_Lights-Seachoice_05151_Flush_Mount_Side_Lights.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwlKLHBRDztKr6wMnRthMSJAALcT-s_51ktwUL4kKycePA1y3LAVVEnAm1QACBlejk8EAiqRoC9Tnw_wcB
fishinwrench Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 It is an excellent upgrade. Nothing is flakier than light pole sockets. It amazes me that they are even STILL around.
