Well went down to the River Sucker Fishing they weren't biting but reregged my 6# test Line for Trout baited with Night Crawlers and Big Rainbows liked it. Guys around me weren't catching anything but they was using Split shot I was using 3/8Oz. Egg Sinker to slow it down.

I tried Sucker fishing with worms in the White River. The suckers never get a chance to get near the worm.

I've caught plenty Redhorse Suckers on the Niangua River but the river is up and muddy that may be the problem.

 

With Trout I give about a foot to foot and half of Leader, slow the drift down with plenty weight and put Night Crawler on with plenty loose Worm where there is plenty wiggle.
