motoman Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 RATS!:-( - Happened to me a few years ago down there too; crappy feeling. - I don't recall your setup; but I'll be down Sunday and have my backup 24volt motorguide with me in the truck if you need it or need to salvage parts off it. (Just keep it in mind if it will be of any help; although I realize it's days away) I have a 36volt on the boat; but have the backup 24 volt I always bring with me; just in case. - But, for some reason; I have the feeling you might have 5 or 6 backup trolling motor cables in the truck with yah from Kansas.:-P - fingers crossed it's a quick fix!
abkeenan Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 With your style of fishing who needs a troller? Just drop anchor and soak the lil' guy. Sorry to hear about the mechanical breakdown. Always a kick to the groin to deal with that crap while on limited vacay time. Nothing Super Dave can't handle though....... vernon, Macsimus, shark bait and 5 others 8
