Rodmaker Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I was out from 8 to 11 this morning and caught 16. Mostly K's. Slight rock drop off in 8 to 18 fow . 3 keepers. All came on Ned in "the deal" color. Bagged 15 in the same spot yesterday afternoon and caught half of them in the "pearl" color. I know it's not normal, but they seem to be liking these lighter colors up in this stained water. I'll be down here for a another 12 days, so I'll try to keep everyone informed as to what's going on in this neck of the woods. Quite a bit of debris, but it's easy to dodge. Good luck out there. Royal Blue, magicwormman, m&m and 8 others 11
Quillback Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Pearl worked, I'll be darned. Fish coloration gets lighter in heavily stained water, so I guess it makes sense. crazy4fishin 1
dtrs5kprs Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 The Deal color is an exception. If there are shad in the neighborhood, they will eat it.
