rps Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Got up early this morning to go out. I discovered we were blanketed in fog. I usually don't go out when I can't be seen. Just now beginning to clear.

And today, after going out at 7:45 and returning at 12:30 without a single landed fish, I will need to content myself with the view. I fished a topwater in the remnants of the fog for an hour. One blowup and no fish on. Then I went walleye hunting. I did not go walleye finding. Water temp 70 and a slick lake all morning. magicwormman 1
Quillback Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Seems like the wallie fishing has been a little tougher this year.

The places I caught fish in 2011 cannot be reached until the water falls a bit more and I can go under the Beaver bridge. The high water in 2015 came later in the year, after the summer patterns had established. It will take me a week or two to sort them out. Quillback 1
