Members Dhunter1 Posted June 5, 2017 Members Posted June 5, 2017 Started at Aunts Creek about 10. All fish came on 3/16 shaky head with Zoom Trick worm. Worked old shore lines, had to get off the water because lightning and rain. Put the boat on the trailer and headed to Mill Creek after it cleared. Fished the old shore lines and same bait with better success. Mostly smallmouth and spots, lots of short fish only 1 largemouth all day. Quillback, big c, Blll and 6 others 9

Seth Clarkson Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 What color of trick worm were you throwing? My dad and I are going to be headed over there Saturday and I have never been to that area before. Any suggestions would be great. I was told a Carolina rig and wobble head should work out that way. I wasn't sure what to put on the Carolina rig as I usually throw a texas rig, so I threw on a California 420 ol monster worm. magicwormman 1

Seth Clarkson Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 For this time of year though are you using a shaky head, carolina rig, wacky rig, or texas rig when you throw those colors? Or do you throw something different like a popper, jerkbait, crankbait, or spinnerbait?
