Lance34 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 That's how it goes doesn't it! First day of vacation and the wind decided it wanted to blow. Did a different area that I haven't fished in the summer in a few years. Mostly choose it to stay out of the wind. Did what I always do. Trolled the main channel/edge, steep drops, and along flats. Stayed busy... Just no big ones. All 10-12" WT 80-84, lightly stained Out again today. Hopefully the wind will lay some. God Bless Ron Burgundy, Quillback, Blll and 7 others 10
Blll Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Hey Lance, caught a few yesterday doing what you do. Question, what rods & line are you using? I just used my trolling Ugly Stiks and those poor crappie just skim along the surface. Not much fun just reeling em' in.

Have 2 of each that I put off both sides of the bow. Line, I use 10# Seaguar fluorocarbon. Yeah not much a fight in them. lol! But, that's what I want them to do, is skim the surface. Less chance of loosing them that way with that thin mouth. Blll 1
Lance34 Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 Might should have threw the kitchen sink at them today. Tough bite today. I seen them but, they would not take much of anything. Manage a few though Champ188, Dan the fisherman, TheGreenFish and 1 other 4
