That's how it goes doesn't it!  First day of vacation and the wind decided it wanted to blow.

Did a different area that I haven't fished in the summer in a few years.

Mostly choose it to stay out of the wind.

Did what I always do.  Trolled the main channel/edge, steep drops, and along flats.

Stayed busy...  Just no big ones.  All 10-12"

WT 80-84, lightly stained

Out again today.  Hopefully the wind will lay some.  God Bless

Hey Lance, caught a few yesterday doing what you do. Question, what rods & line are you using? I just used my trolling Ugly Stiks and those poor crappie just skim along the surface. Not much fun just reeling em' in.

Good Deal Bill!!

I use 8ft, 12ft, and 16ft BnM Pro Staff trolling rods.  Have 2 of each that I put off both sides of the bow.  Line, I use 10# Seaguar  fluorocarbon.    Yeah not much a fight in them. lol!  But, that's what I want them to do, is skim the surface.  Less chance of loosing them that way with that thin mouth.
