Anyone still fish Tunnel Dam?

Use to years ago but haven't heard anyone fishing it.

Do you mean the river below the outlet, or Lake Niangua ?

I haven't fished either in quite awhile, but just curious which you're considering.

The river below the Outlet. Use to fish there and do well.

I'm curious about this area. Do they fish below the actual dam, or the outlet, which according to what I've seen is downstream some distance. I've been to the outlet by jetboat and it didn't appear to have anything going that would make it concentrate fish and there wasn't much water flowing above it.

Use to fish below the actual Dam. Catfish, Crappie and Bass.

To be honest I think you have to live real close and hit it routinely to know when it's right.    I've been out there a half dozen times when the water was running at various levels and I've never hit it right.

The dead water stretch between the spillway and the outlet is a gar, carp, drum hole for the most part.
