Fall Fishing at the Lake

I caught mine in 12' out from a dock. 1/4 oz shakey head. About 7:00am.  I couldn't get the top water bite to work for me.

Same here.....got mine on big crank bait ticking brush tops in 15'. A few small fish on top water early but no keepers.

Solid limit this a. m. with a nice kicker. No wind, all fish on big worm in or near brush...

Nice one, what end of the lake are you on and what's the water temp down to with these cooler night?

anybody seeing any bigger fish moving shallow yet? can't be far off with these cool nights

The ones I have caught shallow lately have been pretty nice, fat and healthy, but the bites are few and far between.

A good cool rain should get 'em rockin'.

GPSHunter, I am on the lower end of the lake. I have a condo at Blue Anchor Bay. Water temp was 77-78 today. Like Wrench said, some nicer fish moving shallower but not big numbers yet. Still some fish on main lake points too....

Thanks! I'm heading down in about an hour. I'll be right around that area too. My family has a place right across the lake from you in Raccoon Hollow.
