Mercury 25XD jet for sale

I have a Mercury 25XD jet for sale. This motor needs a water pump and the seal between the jet pump and the motor needs to be replaced. Runs good. Jet pump impeller looks new apart from the sharpening I did last week. The liner still allows for 6 shims on the bottom with a 1/32" gap. I paid 1500 for this two months ago and used it twice. Anything over 500 dollars and it's yours.

is it electric start? Guess the work did not give you the power?

It is a manual start. The pump work did help and the the water pump went out. Fortunately I was fishing upstream so I fished down to the boat launch.

are you sure the water pump is out?  My little merc 25 the bugs build in the "pee" hole if it sits long, (I keep a toothpick in it now) but have had to run weed eater line up it.

Griz I will try it but it was peeing very good and then it was reduced to a trickle. I will give it a try and thanks for your advice! I appreciate it.
