Ketchup Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Had our tournament today out of Ruark. Started out with 70.2 water temp with a slight breeze, and a beautiful morning. Partner and i made the first cast at 7:09 and at 7:32 had our 5 fish limit. We fished other areas with the same type of rock/slope but only picked up dinks. We were able to cull twice thruout the day. Guys at weighin said lots of short fish were caught today, and 1 walleye. Wind picked up pretty good, like Stockton is known for. We ended up winning and won big bass pot also. aarchdale and his partner took second. As always, it was great to be on the water. dan hufferd, Daryk Campbell Sr, kdc and 4 others 6 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

My partner is a heck of a good stick, but was struggling getting keepers bites. Send him to TR with a spoon and may as well donate your money before launch. I did well on that same 100 yard stretch of bank this spring also. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Members Snagman23 Posted October 16, 2017 Members Posted October 16, 2017 It was my first trip there ever, and won't be back in the foreseeable future, so I'll spill the beans on how we did Saturday. We won a little 9 boat friendly tournament with 9lb 12 oz, with a mix of smallies, kentuckies, and largemouth fishing main lake points 10-25' deep with shaky heads and jigs. Caught one walleye on a shaky head also. We ended up culling 5-6 fish. Heard of a walleye guy that put 12 walleye in the boat, but not sure what they were doing. Fished for awhile Sunday after the cold front with the wind 180 degrees opposite of Saturday and the fish had mostly been blown off those points and we couldn't find them in any numbers anywhere.
