What do y'all do to keep the skirts on your jigs. Seems evertime I use an oily fish attractant, the little rubber band comes loose and the skirt ends up on the bend of the hook.

I wrap the skirt on the jig with a couple wraps of light gage copper wire and twist the wire tight.

At any of these, LOWES or MENARDS or HARDWARE STORE in the electrical section find the " SMALLEST WIRE TIE " they carry & you are done. Quick & easy & not bothered by any " LURE JUICE " !!!!!!! Also if you feel the fish care they are available in various colors, black & / or white being the most common.

Found some small diameter solid copper wire @ Powells & did as suggested. Don't know why I never thought of this myself. Thanks for the suggestion. Got a good start on them (until I got bored). ;) Bill

Bill T, forgot to mention, your copper wire wrap works like a champ. Holds up excellent with oil attractant. Solved my issues... Again thanks.
