Old plug Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Pallets will work if you in a got them in a good crappie spot. They draw large bass. Just throwing things under the dock is by far No guarantee. it is going to bring in Crappie. How deep are they????
shrapnel Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Have caught crappie here year round, so yes they are already here just hoping to increase the numbers. Have water from 6' to 25' to work with. I'll keep hanging pallets til this dock's floating a foot lower than it should if I have to In the deeper stalls I will use 2 of the 6-7' long pallets with the top at 6' and a 2' gap between them so they are hanging from 6' down to around 18-20' Also plan to make tee pees out of a few and set them on bottom in shallower stalls.
DADAKOTA Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 How are you weighting the brush. I've used cinder blocks and wired them or tied them with nylon rope. Both eventually come loose. Any better ideas?

Old plug Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I still would have maybe connected a line to the pallets just to keep them there. you csnnot unestimate the power of water rising and falling
