Members Bass_assassin Posted December 1, 2017 Members Posted December 1, 2017 Hi my name is Anthony bleything. I am new to the forum. On the 16th of December me and my partner are fishing a tournament on table rock. What are some good baits. We also do not have good sonars for finding bait and using spoons.
Sprint21fter Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 With the expected cold cold front by the end of next week it should push some fish shallow but you will wear out your trolling motor in order to cover enough good water. Hopefully there is enough wind you should be fine throwing wiggle warts, deep little n's, or Rock crawlers on gravel/ mixed with chunck rock. Good luck.
Champ188 Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Anthony, no matter what part of the lake you're in, look for areas where the bank transitions from steep, bluff rock to 45-degree chunk rock and then to flatter gravel areas. As Sprint said, the fish are most likely to be on the chunk rock areas, but finding these transition areas should help you out. Carl W and Royal Blue 2

Royal Blue Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Can you throw an A-rig in the tournament? If so, I'd absolutely have one tied on.
