I wouldn't recommend fishing alone in winter. Had a good friend go over a few years ago and the good Lord was looking out for him and someone heard his cries. Doesn't make any difference if your the worlds best swimmer with 35 degree water it will only take minutes. I wonder if you were talking about me. The wife and I had our boat sink in early March one year (1987). We went in to 28F water. Luckily there were a couple trees nearby we could hold on to. Someone heard us holler and came got us out of the lake. even half out of the water holding on to the trees we wouldn't have lasted long. I am so glad the Lord walks with us. BE CAREFUL! Please. dan hufferd 1
Dkman Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Ended up putting in at CC. Caught a few short crappie very deep on jigs. Did not last long. Too cold. The only place I will be this weekend is by the fire. terryj1024 1
