It's hard to say how busy it is as i have only used it during the week, plenty of area for getting around in...There is no courtesy dock, but the boat ramp it's self is good.. I’ve never had any problem with parking there. We used to use that ramp all the time when we fished cape fair. We usually put in at aunts creek now when we make the trip to table rock.

It is south street, just follow it through the neighborhood and you will see the ramp That ramp is also privately funded by that neighborhood residents so leave them some $ in the box to help on the upkeep. They have a money box there as they tried to make it private and i guess COE say's nope can't do that from what i understand. The coe won't let them make it private but they are responsible for any mowing, new gravel, and the permit fees that the coe decide to raise all the time. What I don't understand is why the coe makes it to be open to the public but doesn't kick in any money or help with maintenance.. Champ188 1

There's an older retired guy that checks the box probably ever other day. He is the one who does most of the work around there if it needs anything. They also have a community recycle deal in the neighborhood for aluminum that goes into a fund for more gravel or permit fees as well. grizwilson 1

Put in at the marina. Most everything towards James River from the marina was ice. Dad caught one small spotted bass on an Alabama rig and I caught lots of trees. Wind was worse than they were calling for after about 11.
