Members Jerry Honeycutt Posted February 26, 2018 Members Posted February 26, 2018 Hi All, Names Jerry, retired from the USCG in 2001, retired from Yale University in 2015, now call the Freck area home. Originally from North Alabama, lived in Alaska (Cordova and Kodiak) for almost 14 years of CG career, love to fish but finding it hard to read Bull Shoals or Norfolk when on the water. Any tips welcomed! Nice to meet you all. Here's a couple of fishing pictures of me when I was a kid, somewhere in the Gulf of Alaska catching dinner. The Halibut on the left was #140lbs, the little "Chicken" i am holding on the right are awesome eating fish. Jerry bfishn, BilletHead, tho1mas and 2 others 5
MrGiggles Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 You can find topographic maps of any lake here. Study the area you plan to fish. https://webapp.navionics.com/#boating@6&key=cw|aEvmecP Can't say for Bull but there is very little vegetation on Stockton and Pomme. Cover comes in the form of brush piles and standing timber. -Austin
