This gets said every spring but.... this rain and warm weather should get them moving.  Only problem will be it's supposed to be nice Saturday and Sunday so the hoards will be out in full force. Good rain Friday and Monday I'd say by first week of April they will be hot.

Can you run a bass boat up the little sac from Aldrich right now? I’ve seen them up by Ireland before but I’ve also high centered a small Jon boat by the old bridge pillars. Just nervous bc I havnt done it & don’t want any problems. Where does the channel run out there?

I saw people up past Orleans in bass boats last weekend.  If you are headed up river past the old bridge pillars you have to stay left/center by the trees to the right is a big mudflat. 

 

I'm taking a canoe to the Aldrich area this weekend so I dont have to use the boat ramp.  I bet it is very busy.

I'm heading to Orleans bridge now I'll post what I find out

Took the kayak out today, Orleans was pretty busy. Met a friend out there, him and his family ended up with 38. I didn't get anything but I got a late start, they said the bite was best about noon for them. I also didn't have the colors they were using, blue swimming minnow or black with chartreuse tail

Headed down Monday in the rain. Hopefully get into some.

I was there about 10 till noon seen one guy with a good stringer caught on a white grub I figured it got better after the sun came out
