bwcballer10 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Went with a buddy after work yesterday, saw fish being caught by everyone at Taylor. We caught them in the eddy above the bridge as well as the eddy below the bridge. I'm hoping there is enough water this year to catch them on the float from 215 to Taylor soon. Good luck to everyone!
Flysmallie Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 There is plenty of water to do 215 to Taylor right now. It's higher now than it was last year when I did it.
bwcballer10 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 I guess I should have said hopefully the fish make it up to 215 soon. This year the water situation is great for only being the 21st of March. I think with the future forecast they will continue making their way up river.
Flysmallie Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 That makes sense. I drove over it a Sunday and it looked really good there. Could use a little more water though.
Krazo Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 With water like this, how far would you expect the fish to go upstream? 550th? 111th? Little sac conservation area? How far upstream have you heard of people catching them?
Flysmallie Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Farthest I ever heard was O Hwy. But that was a long time ago. I have fished for them at 111 with zero success. Never fished around 550. 215 is the fartheset i have done any good but I've seen people walk up from there and catch good numbers. It all depends on the water and a fish that nobody truly understands. trythisonemv 1
