I always just use a purple swimmin minnow, it usually will catch them even when most other things will not. Tuesday the color did not matter though, I was catching several on a white rooster tail as well. And everyone on the bank was throwing various colors and catching them. I think it takes pretty high water years to get them up past 215 in any numbers. But most years with decent water levels you can catch several fish from 215 bridge to taylor.

Usually it's white/chartreuse for me I might run down after work today taking the old flat bottom Saturday as long as rain don't bring the water up too much and paddle up as far as I can

I will be over there this afternoon in my 12 ft jon with my father in law. I'll be the ugly guy in the back working the trolling motor, if you see me say hey.

I will be up there tomorrow afternoon.  I will be in a flat bottom with a trolling motor in the front.  Will have my son and another guy with me.

Fished Taylor today as well. Most folks got a few fish (males) but pretty slow. Saw guys with fly rods fishing clousers. spinner guys with jigs and plastic and a few with cranks. one person with minnows. I think I was the only one with a small generator and fishing with electricity. Bank fisher people being about as successful as boaters.
