Fish EVERYWHERE at Taylor

The fish were few and far between for me.  Lots of people though.

Seen a few decent stringers at Orleans I had no luck went to Taylor's caught 2 small males seen people catching a few keepers and talked to a guy that had a 4 pound walleye just up from the bridge

For our crew the combined total from Taylor's area today (3-24) was right at 15. Only one dink. 6 females when we cleaned them but several of the males were just as big. My father had a "hot streak" late morning where he caught 3 or 4 in 7 or 8 casts i think but otherwise it was very slow. Slower retrieval and lighter leadheads helped but nothing was magic. Few largemouth also. Several trying it this morning and it was looking difficult for everyone, couple guys doing much better than us though. Water was a little too clear for what I like but according to the forecast that's going to change.

Yeah this rain is going to be awesome for the hit or miss bite trend. I'm going again Friday early hopefully they get after it. May take the canoe this time

Went Sunday to Taylor's and took the boat fish were biting good on white guy on the bank had his limit and my nephew hooked a 22 inch walleye got it to the boat and lost it

Glad to hear you got into some Sunday, that sucks losing the walleye at the boat. Hopefully we get a good amount of this rain they are talking about today and tomorrow, that should send them into the river by the thousands.

It's looking like Friday is going to be a great day to get down there, good luck! I'm hoping to get after them sometime this weekend.
