well, plans to crappie fish how we wanted yesterday and today were scrapped with the wind conditions. We know where they are staging  just could not fight the wind to get after them yet.Tomorrow will attempt to try again. Don;t know the water temp. Finding a few hungry smallmouth . Grubs,tubes,jerkbaits all caught fish fairly shallow on various bank types. Friend caught his personal best smallie today.

3/22 3-7pm

FINALLY got to crappie fish  for a couple hours casting the f-n-f w/ homemade marabou jigs and swimming 2" grubs by brush piles in 10-15 fow. and  transition banks. Caught 9, all keepers but 1. Nice average  12"-13".  Bass fished the rest of the day  on the flats. caught some little spots and lm all about an inch short of keeper on 3 and 4" grubs, white or pearl was working the best for us. Going again tomorrow
