I was looking at the total weights for the event and thought they were low for this time of year.  (1st- 32.321, 2nd-29.91, 3rd-26.78, 4th-20.56, 5th-18.76)  I was surprised to see only 4 bags over 20 pounds in a 2 day event.  I guess that fishing hasn't taken off at lake O yet?

I also think a majority of the Webb Elite guys are mainly from the White River Chain area. Some of the names are common LOZ anglers but I don't think most are. The AiA and Alhonna results were much better and they draw the more common LOZ tournament anglers.

What are the water temps running?

I was out yesterday and it was really tough. I was all over in the dam area to way up the gravois. Most water temps I saw were in the mid-40s. I blanked for the day only catching one short fish all day and saw some pretty low weights in a group of pretty decent LOZ fishermen.

Keep in mind when looking at those tournament results that the top 5 are a pretty small sample of what the fishing is really like.  To say the fishing is great because Marcus pulls in close to 27 lbs isn't a very good overall picture.  Look at the what weights did in that AIA tourney or the Alhonna tourney after the first few places.   Last year in the AIA, the top 20 spots would be be filled with 20 pound bags.  Most of the guys I talked to over the weekend were struggling big time, myself included.  It was tough.

Glaize on Saturday got up to low to mid 50's

From the toll bridge down, I was seeing 45-47.

I was thinking the same thing MOsmallies.  AIA had more locals than Webb.   I agree with GSP just because Marcus had a big bag doesn't mean that fishing was good.  He can catch them when most of us don't.  Water temps are still a little cold.  If it gets in the 50's and stays there then it will get good.  GSP, how muddy was the water in the Glaize?

I totally agree GSPHUNTER and redshad. The top guys on LOZ have a way of always figuring them out. It's pretty darn impressive (at least to me). I ended up crappie fishing Saturday since my father-in-law enjoys it more and we had my 5 year old out with us for part of the day. Cleaned 20 decent ones. Made for a fun weekend! The bass probably would've had me scratching my head anyway...
