Lance34 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Alien minnowsđ Heard about this product called fire dye from a bait shop down in Louisiana. Just curious about it and wanted to have some fun playing around with it.  So gave the shop a call and order one bottle. The stuff cost like 12 dollars a bottle for a one time use.  So donât plan to use this stuff regularly. Iâld be brokeđ But it works well. Was trying to keep track what caught what but, a lot of fish caught yesterday and gave up.  WT 56-60.. Clarity is still perfect. Rigging 1/2oz minnow rigs out aways from them bushes where them staging females are moving in and out. Still got dink like crazy but, hey it is Beaverđ. Just pilfered threw them and ended with 14 before running out of time, to needing to get home.  Nice to always put a face with a forum member. Pleasure to meet you both yesterday sir.  Sick of the wind... God blessed, pics below and yes that slab ate a green minnow đ    This post has been promoted to an article Quillback, dan hufferd, grizwilson and 5 others 7 1

Members Fish Hound Posted April 21, 2018 Members Posted April 21, 2018 Lance, if you really like the stuff the Walmart in Springdale has some on clearance back in the northeast corner before going into lawn and garden. Did not look at the price but they had both green and red. That minnow looks like it came out of the cooling pond at Chernobyl. I did see a you tube video of a guy using that stuff and he was at Beaver fishing docks. Those are nice fish. I picked off a few from the bank this morning. One was the blackest crappie I have ever seen. Lance34 1

But if itâs cheap than Iâll keep trying it out some. Yes males are on the bank with their war paint on.  Easy pickings đ Iâve thought about wading them bushes when the wind is extremely high and rigging is no go. Just take my boat to where I want to go,  slam it on the bank and go to wading.  Done else where, worth a shot I guess one day. Thanks again Fish Hound 1
Guest Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I hammered them yesterday, good to meet you as well. Your wading idea is a good one. Let me know how you do. Just stay off the mud flats, okay.Â
