kdc Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Got to get out early started at 6 fished til 10 had to get yard work done .had a good morning caught 3 keepers 2 spots 1 largemouth 8 shorts most were smallmouths most were in 10 to 15 ft of wtr on gravel used whopper plopper and candy tube ,tube was what keepers came on wtr temp 69 to 71 crazy4fishin, magicwormman, Quillback and 4 others 7

Bill Babler Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I have caught several in Viney, and several at Emerald Point but you really have to get past the mouth of the Kings and better yet the Baxter area to the dam, if you want to do your best work on them. They love little gravel pockets and most times they are right in the gut. They only live in the lake late April thru June and then I think they move to either KC or St. Louis cause they sure are no long here.
