Members Hungupagain Posted May 14, 2018 Members Posted May 14, 2018 I just got the go ahead from the boss to buy a OT Disco 119, but I am having a problem. It would seem I am not able to find a retailer that stocks these and the wait times I am getting on ordering one are fairly ridiculous. If anyone knows of a retailer within 2 hours of Springfield Mo that stocks these i would appreciate the info. We are doing an overnight in a couple of weeks, and though we can do it in our kayaks, I would rather have my canoe to pack up. Thanks in advance.
Al Agnew Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Looks like you could order the canoe from the Old Town Store part of their website. They say it's in stock and will ship by truck within three days. However, price on canoe is $699, and there is a $100 shipping fee to your curb. If you have a dealer that will work with you, however, you can have it shipped to the store for $50. Just depends upon whether you're willing to pay the extra bucks to get the thing in a timely fashion.
Al Agnew Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Looks like you can also get it through Amazon, apparently coming from Appomattox River Company...or order it from them direct.
ollie Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Picked mine up in Rogers Ark., but that would be a little further than a couple of hours for you. Gavin Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 There is a dealer locator on Old Town's Website... https://www.oldtowncanoe.com/where-to-buy Alpine Shop in Columbia, should be able to help you out. They are based out of St. Louis, and they have always been great folks to deal with.
ollie Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 South Town Bait. It is actually closer to Fayetteville though if that matters to you. They treated me right. When mine came in from the factory it had a blem on it and they ordered me another one and took back the first one. It is the same people that used to own South Town in Joplin many yeas ago.
