Carl Expand there is nothing easy about any fishing lure. you have to learn how to use any fishing tool to make the fish strike it. there is nothing magic with any fishing tool. the jig just happens to be the most versatile tool we can have in the boat. bo Champ188 and Carl W 2
m&m Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Bo, I agree about the versatility of a jig. But have not caught a jig fish yet this spring. I know it will happen and I keep experimenting with different sizes and colors. Mike Carl W 1

Mike Expand have you fished any plastics on a jig?? such as shakey head or a swimmer on a jig, or crawdad on a jig? and, actually a spinner bait is just a jig with a spinner attached. bo Carl W 1

Now that we’ve got a summer pattern here I will be bottom bumping waiting for that thump-thump. Mike merc1997 Bo 1
