rps Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Went out today between 11 and 2:30 (What was I thinking?) The late start was because I had an appointment for the doctor's vampires to draw blood for testing prior to my annual physical next week. Just like last time, they were unsuccessful. The silly things roll. First thing of interest is a sonar picture. If you look carefully at the side scan you will see what looks like rocks in a straight band. The down scan shows the hump these rocks make. The rock wall sits on the edge of the drop off to the channel. I figured you might never have seen a rock wall before on your sonar. Second thing: When I came in I gassed up before I put the boat on the lift. In the marina office, a woman saw my OA hat and remarked that when she and her husband were planning their trip to Table Rock, she found the most information on the site. I was told to convey her thanks. cheesemaster, Royal Blue, Jwright79 and 5 others 8
Bill Babler Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Very interesting on the wall pic. Very clear shot. On another note the last 3 days out of SK fishing up the white we have caught multiple walleye from Viney up. All came swimming a Keitech 3.3 in Pro Blue Shiner on a 1/4 head on flat gravel and I also have to say flat water as we have had very little wave action. Most of these fish were in 15', and as usual if you catch one you usually catch a buddy. We have also broke off more fish than usual on that gravel with usually a line or two coming back each day after a hard hit with everything gone. I'm guessing Mr. Walter is the culprit. I've found that about the only way to get bit on it is to drag a brush hog or lizard carolina rigged. They were still there on Wednesday. merc1997 Bo 1
